The Psalms course is new to our lineup and promises to be very interesting and beneficial to your spiritual life. We consider the origin and development of the Psalter, its theology, its importance for worship, how it nurtured the lives of the OT saints, including Jesus Himself, and the practical impact for the church today and our spiritual lives. This is also a part of God’s Word that He wanted expressed in terms of poetry, which most people are not used to reading, much less interpreting, and find somewhat intimidating. We talk about what’s so significance about poetry and how we should understand it? All throughout, we see just how useful the Psalter is and why we shouldn’t ignore the fact that it is the only part of God’s Word that was intentionally written to be recited back to God. Hope you’ll join us for a wonderful experienced in the Psalter.
