Luther called it “the chief part of the New Testament.” Calvin adds, “When one gains the knowledge of this epistle, he has an entrance opened to him to all the most hidden treasures of Scripture.” In this second course, we will consider chapters four, five and six, verse-by-verse studying out Paul’s continued discussion of justification by faith alone and how that practically impacts the believer. Additionally, we will examine the glorious doctrine of sanctification, showing that those who have been saved from sin will not continue to live in it as a pattern of life. This is a class you do not want to miss. So come and join us in this wonderful exploration through this epic epistle.
